[MPlayer-users] MPlayer crash?

Hello all! I am using MPlayer-1.0rc1try3-1.pm.1 from packman site (RPM)
on SLED10 SP1 with gnome. MPlayer works if my xgl dekstop effects are
not enabled. When enabled, mplayer opens and then closes without any
error messages. When i disable xgl, mplayer works fine. What in xgl
could be causing this problem? How can open mplayer from a console to
see any error messages? Thanks for any help

I have also asked this on the packman lists but they say not a packman
problem.
