[MPlayer-users] Differences between 1.0pre8 and 1.0~rc1-0ubuntu9.1

Hi,

I'm wondering why the following command line works with 1.0pre8
(self-build .deb) and doesn't work with the current version in ubuntu
(1.0~rc1-0ubuntu9.1):

/usr/bin/mplayer -vo mpegpes:grab.mpg -ao mpegpes -vf scale=512:480,expand=512:480:-1:-1:1,lavc=5000:30 \
 -vfm ffmpeg -framedrop -cache 4096   -subpos 50 -sub-bg-color 0 -sub-bg-alpha 30 \
-quiet -osdlevel 0 -slang en,de file.avi

the current ubuntu version produces the following error:

But my self-made 1.0pre8 works like a charm. Any ideas what that could be?
