Thanks John. Oddly, Live555 is installed and configure didn't find it that
time. I'll check that out.
Re tv_param, I'm not interested in any television usage , which I assume
this is about. Maybe my video card doesn't support TV in/out, I don't care.
Is there something I can remove from the source, do you think,  or a
--no-something-or-other configure option which will getaround the problem
rather than solving it?
