I just solved this accidentally. And culprit is 'cache'! -nocache solves
this issue completely. The trick is - even with cache and cache-min so big
that entire file should fit in before decoding even start I still get a
slideshow... So I start to think maybe there is something wrong with the way
cache works in mplayer....
