[MPlayer-users] Can mplayer support an audio bitrate change in the stream while decoding?

I tried
mplayer -vc ffmpeg12 -ac ffmp2 test.mpg
mplayer -vc ffmpeg12 test.mpg
mplayer -ac ffmp2 test.mpg

but none of them seems to work...

any other ideas?
