[MPlayer-users] Autocrop Feature Request

I have hopefully a very easy to implement feature request.
I recently bought a 16:10 wide monitor, and I've found the
autocrop feature of mplayer very useful in correcting
poorly encoded widescreen videos for my new monitor. I
even wrote a script to automatically use the feature.
However, there seems to be a fad in Japan recently to film
music videos and such in a widescreen format, but instead
of having black bands on the top and bottom, they use
alternate colors, often pure white although I've seen pink
or sky blue as well. This is cute when you're working on a
4:3 monitor, but personally, I'd rather strip away the
bands altogether and just view the videos in widescreen.
My request is that the autocrop feature be expanded to
include any solid color, not just black. If it's too
difficult to do just any color, maybe adding an autodetect
feature for just pure white would be nice, since the
majority of these videos use pure wide bands.
I think mplayer's the best damn video player out there
now, and I want to thank everyone for developing it and
for listening to my request.
