I have a directory with files that seem to come from a DVD. Here is the
filelist:
VTS_02_1.XVO
StreamData.xml*
VIDEO_TS.IFO*
VTS_01_0.IFO*
VTS_01_1.VSI*
VTS_01_1.XVO*
VTS_02_0.IFO*
VTS_02_0.VSI*
VTS_02_0.XVO*
VTS_02_1.VSI*
VTS_02_1.XVO*
VTS_02_2.XVO*
VTS_03_0.IFO*
VTS_03_1.VSI*
VTS_03_1.XVO*
VTS_04_0.IFO*
VTS_04_1.VSI*
VTS_04_1.XVO*
How do I play such directory with mplayer? The largest file is VTS_02_1.XVO,
having over 1GB, and I tried mplayer VTS_02_1.XVO but the result was:
Opening video decoder: [mpegpes] MPEG 1/2 Video passthrough
VDec: vo config request - 3017 x 2543 (preferred csp: Mpeg PES)
Could not find matching colorspace - retrying with -vf scale...
Opening video filter: [scale]
The selected video_out device is incompatible with this codec.
VDecoder init failed :(
Opening video decoder: [libmpeg2] MPEG 1/2 Video decoder libmpeg2-v0.4.0b
Selected video codec: [mpeg12] vfm:libmpeg2 (MPEG-1 or 2 (libmpeg2))
==========================================================================
Checking audio filter chain for 48000Hz/2ch/s16le -> 48000Hz/2ch/s16le...
AF_pre: 48000Hz/2ch/s16le
AO: [oss] 48000Hz 2ch s16le (2 bps)
Building audio filter chain for 48000Hz/2ch/s16le -> 48000Hz/2ch/s16le...
Starting playback...
FATAL: Could not initialize video filters (-vf) or video output (-vo).
The result of the command "file VTS_02_1.XVO" is:
VTS_02_1.XVO: MPEG sequence, v2, program multiplex
