[MPlayer-users] Using fbdev to play videos on MPlayer

hi,
    I am working on a  freescale board(Linux Target mage Builder - Ltib). I have enabled directfb and fbdev for mplayer.When i try to play a video i get the video output but it is smudged.By smudged i mean  i can only see the outline and the colours dont appear.

Below is the log that mplayer provides when trying to play a file

Please could anyone point out the reason why the video is not playing properly.
Is it some problem with configuring the framebuffers.
Is it a rgb configuration problem. As i am compiling on a little-endian machine and the board is a big-endian machine.
