[MPlayer-users] How to watch Internet TV (in like PVR mode)

Hi there,

First of all MPlayer is the BEST player on the planet! I love its flexibility 
and ability to play anything what I need!

I’m using it to watch oversea live TV from Europe (overseatv.com).  So, I 
dumping the stream and instantly watching ‘stream.dump’ with MPlayer. (Dump 
file is continuously updating with new data). And MPlayer is able to skip 
forward, backward etc. No other player is able to do this, only yours! 

The only problem, when MPlayer reaches the end of the ‘stream.dump’ it stops 
playing the file.
Is there any chance to force it back for 2-3 seconds and show almost “live TV”, 
not just turn off? Also, it would be really nice if MPlayer will be able to 
calculate the time of continually updating dump file. Maybe I don’t know how to 
do it…
I’m using the latest version of MPlayer for Windows on WindowsXP (MCE) 
computer.
