Try -vo xv
-vo xvidix (try this one with root permissions)
-vo gl:yuv=2
-vo gl
-zoom

in this order. Last two will be slow, third one may be slow, but may be
as fast at first ones. If -vo xv provides unsatisfactory results (e.g.
you have ati card), use xvidix or gl:yuv=2.
