Unfortunately, this is all too vague. You've trimmed out vital bits  
of information (MPlayer Version/SVN revision) and "seg fault" is a  
pretty vague error in and of itself. Run mplayer with the -v option,  
and paste that in here (NO trimming), and see about betting a  
backtrace. Maybe then we'll have enough data to help you.
