Hi,

Regarding Quicktime playback in Linux:

When playing RGB Quicktimes it seems mplayer automatically remaps the RGB values 16-235 out to 0-255.

The only way I have found to override this is using the gl driver :

mplayer -vo gl:yuv=1 plates_sor.mov

Is there some other way to override this, preferably something compatible with both playback and
jpeg sequence ripping?
