Intel OSX is not fully supported (see also
http://bugzilla.mplayerhq.hu/show_bug.cgi?id=549).
You need at least --disable-win32 and --disable-mp3lib.
You might also want to make sure you have libmad available for mp3
decoding, otherwise mp3-in-avi will not work.
