Hello,
I'm trying to play a dvd on linux (CentOS 4.1) for the 1st time.  I'm
getting a complaint about the video output device not being compatible w/
the codec.  I've used both the default vo and also xv, but get the error
with both.  I found a post that said "notice that it switches to a different
codec after failing w/ the original one", so perhaps this isn't really my
problem.  but if I keep reading the error, I don't see any other smoking
guns or blatant errors.  Any hints?
