thanks for your reply!

I used "apt-get install mplayer" to install mplayer in my debian
system;not complied mplayer from source;

I am sure the drvc.so file is in both /usr/lib/codecs folder
and /usr/lib/win32 folder,so I dont know why mplayer cant find drvc.so;

is it necessary that complie mplayer from source?
