[MPlayer-users] Kiosk with mplayer ?

I read the whole man page up and down, but didn't find a solution for my 
application: playing any video file in a kiosk.
Problem: The video needs to be at a specific place on the screen, *and* 
always with a pre-set height.
I found 'geometry' for placing the output, but that's not enough. The 
height must be constant throughout all vidoes. As of now, even if I set 
mplayer for one video, the next will once again come up with its 
defaults; even on a playlist. I want to go further: defining once and 
for all that the window needs to be horizontally centered, and extend 
from (e.g.) 100 pixels down from the top, to 100 pixels above the 
bottom. That is: setting a default standard height, irrespective of 
aspect ratio.
Can this be done ?
