[MPlayer-users] cvs connection refused

I recently tried to pull the cvs version of mplayer and got the
following response:

]$ cvs -d:pserver:anonymous at mplayerhq.hu:/cvsroot/mplayer login
Logging in to :pserver:anonymous at mplayerhq.hu:2401/cvsroot/mplayer
CVS password:
cvs [login aborted]: connect to mplayerhq.hu(213.144.138.186):2401
failed: Connection refused

A message earlier this year

http://mplayerhq.hu/pipermail/mplayer-cygwin/2006-March/002528.html

indicated that it may be a firewall problem, however

]$ cvs -d:pserver:anonymous at anoncvs.gnome.org:/cvs/gnome loginLogging
in to :pserver:anonymous at anoncvs.gnome.org:2401/cvs/gnome
CVS password:

works perfectly.

A quick search on google for this problem with cvs seems to indicate a
server issue. Is anyone else seeing this? If not any hints as to a
solution?

I have tried this on three different machines on different networks
and all fail with the same error.

Andrew
