I know I'm going toget creamed on this subject again
but I'm sure there is something screwy rabbit with builds later
than 20051128  - I installed Suse 10.1 on 2 machines  - my old one at
home which is a 750MHz Duron and a 3.0GHz P4 at work. The P4 works fine
with the latest builds but the AMD hangs with anything later than  20051128
both the DVD and hard disk light come on and stay on forever ( well until
you reboot :-) and thats it ( xine and ogle work OK )

When I posted before a few people replied 'works for me' but I don't think
anyone had a PC as old as mine - I am really (fairly) convinced it not 
me being
dumb and there is something odd after that point
