Hey All,
Can anybody guide me in the right direction to solving this compile
error?
$ make
-- snip --
mplayer.o(.data+0xdcc): undefined reference to `lirc_configfile'
collect2: ld returned 1 exit status
make: *** [mplayer] Error 1
All configured (successfully) using:
$ ./configure --with-codecsdir=/usr/lib/codecs --enable-lirc
I had LIRC installed and working with the latest stable binary
release of mplayer (yum installed), but this is failing on CVS
1.0pre7try2-3.2.3, grabbed yesterday.
Leaving ./configure to autodetect lirc gives this:
$ ./configure --with-codecsdir=/usr/lib/codecs
-- snip -- Checking for lirc ... no
Checking for lircc ... no
My IR device uses the Linux Input Layer, therefore it's /dev/input/
event0 rather than /dev/lirc/[0-9]
Thanks in advance,
Ben
