I noticed that too. I think the turning point from actual discussion  
was somewhere around where someone (I don't know who, so don't ask!  
And no, I'm not accusing anyone, so don't hurt me!) tried to defend  
their claims from the other thread, and then this aspect was  
discussed, then that lead to the other aspect. Someone should have  
mentioned we were getting off topic somewhere around two or three  
(probably more) days ago.

Seriously, I totally agree. Perhaps we should limit all opinion, or  
at least qualify opinion with something like "IMHO" or something like  
that... You know, that whole "subjective, fuzzy measurement" thing.  
For me, I can't stand 64 KbPS WMAs, but my friend doesn't care. I  
think 320x240/1 MbPS MPEG-2 video is "good enough" for my MythTV  
system, but I'm sure there are others who wouldn't settle for less  
than 720x480/4 MbPS MPEG-2 video.
