[MPlayer-users] High X CPU usage after some time...

Hello all,

I'm having an mplayer running a 10 seconds xvid video in a loop from a
xinit syntax called by the /etc/rc.local (at the boot of the PC, a video
starts playing right away).

The CPU% takes about 10% for mplayer and 30% for X (X has a priority of
14 and a STATUS of 'S' sleeping). After 20 minutes or so, mplayer is
still at 10% but X runs at 80% with a priority of 24 and a STATUS of 'R'
(running). But nothing changed ! It's still playing the same video over
and over again. Any idea why this could happend ?

Here is a "screenshot" of a "top -d 1 -b -p 2063,2095" :

I'm running MPlayer dev-CVS--4.1.0, mplayer-1.0-0.26.20060314.fc5. It
might not be an mplayer issue. But maybe someone experienced this before...

Regards,
