I don't think that will do what he requested... it will make dmo the
default audio codec family for *all* files, not just WMA files. I don't
know of any way (short of keeping around an appropriately modified
codecs.conf, which is Bad Practice and Very Likely To Cause Problems at
Some Point - and hence a Bad Idea for someone asking the kinds of
questions he is) to set codec defaults on a per-format or per-container
basis in MPlayer.

Heartily agreed. The less the chance of my having to re-order and
otherwise fix the quoting in yet *another* reply just in order to get
the right information retained, the better, as far as I'm concerned.
