Hi All,
I upgraded mplayer (from 1.0-pre2 to the CVS version) to try and cure
a problem with spurious horizontal lines with -vo xv when the
horizontal resolution is greater than 1600. Anyway I still have the
lines, and I now have another problem:
mplayer /dev/video0
.

.
A: 9.1 V: 1.8 A-V: 7.315 ct: 0.096 27/ 27 13% 2% 820.1% 26 0
Too many video packets in the buffer: (4096 in 8105496 bytes).
Maybe you are playing a non-interleaved stream/file or the codec failed?
For AVI files, try to force non-interleaved mode with the -ni option.
Broken frame at 0x6D200

.
at first the video is very slow, then when 'Broken frame' happens the
audio cuts out.
If I use -cache 32768 the problem goes away, but this is really
irritating because it's TV and that makes channel hopping difficult,
and it used to work. /dev/video0 is ivtv 0.6.1.
Any ideas?
James
