grep -irl x11r6 * here finds the files below. If this really doesn't work
for you, then either your grep works differently from what you'd expect
or you ran it in the wrong directory.

I guess you could try to symlink /usr/X11R6/include to /usr/include/X11
or something as a temporary solution.
