[MPlayer-users] Internal FAAD broken for AACPlus V2 (Parametric Stereo)

Hello there.
I just got the latest CVS checkout as of about half an hour ago,
compiled it, and tried playing back an aacplus V2 stream that includes
the AAC+ Parametric Stereo extension.
As such, internal faad produces this after the 1 required sync frame is decoded:
FAAD: Failed to decode frame: Unexpected channel configuration change
FAAD: error: Unexpected channel configuration change, trying to resync!
FAAD: error: Unexpected channel configuration change, trying to resync!
over and over multiple screens full until ctrl-c is pressed.
--enable-external-faad --disable-internal-faad with the FAAD2 cvs
snapshot from audiocoding.com works as expected: 22khz mono for 1 sync
frame, then jumps to 44.1/stereo
(specifically the cvs snapshot found at
http://www.audiocoding.com/modules/mydownloads/singlefile.php?cid=3&lid=19
)
Just wondering why this hasnt been updated/corrected in mplayer's own
FAAD source tree.
Also, I'm not sure if this should also be brought up on the
mplayer-dev-eng list as well, but im hoping people on that list, will
gaze over at this one from time to time :)
Mike
