Hi.
Running MacOS X 10.4.5 (PPC) ...
I have just downloaded MPlayer OS X 2.0 (20 May 2005) and would like
to try it out. It appears that one needs to install codecs.
Where does one get these codecs for the Mac? Looking at the
SourceForge page, I was able to find essential-20050412.tar.bz2.tar.
I unpacked same, and ran "file" on the files contained therein,
finding them to be either "MS-DOS executable (EXE), OS/2 or MS
Windows" or "ELF 32-bit LSB shared object, Intel 80386, version 1
(SYSV), stripped" (the latter being presumably for Intel Linux).
Many thanks.
