[MPlayer-users] How can I override or ignore ~/.mplayer/config ?

My default ~/.mplayer/config file has an option that is throwing off
my DVD ripping. Is there an easy way I can tell mencoder and mplayer
to ignore /etc/mplayer/config and ~/.mplayer/config?
