This has been fixed in the CVS/SVN tree for a couple of weeks now;
however, another problem occurs after the build is completed. 
mplayer/mencoder will both segv as sysi86() has been heavily modified
between Solaris 9 and 10.  Check

more detailed information on the problem.

This problem has been fixed in Solaris Express (since b28, I think);
however, the problem is still in Solaris 10.  I requested to Sun a
number of weeks ago that the fix be backported to Solaris 10 (its only a
one-line fix as you can see), and that is currently in the works.
