Here's the final new version of the script for a while.

new features:

0) New shorter, easier to type name!

1) Enhanced cropdetect cache reduces unnecessary cache flushes!

2) Employs 2 caches: one per-user cache in homedir, one system-wide cache in
/tmp, to try and reuse values computed by other users!

3) New mencoder edl hr-edl-seek mode for more acurate frame seeking during
detection. Needed by lo-res asf files!

4) Now supports non-square pixels on monitor!

5) Still fast as hell! Typically under 5 seconds latency the first you play
a file time to detect paramaters, then negligible for every subsequent
playback!

6) Better handling of files with static bakgrounds!

7) now with more exclamation marks!!!!!

google, you still listening? Automatic widescreen monitor aspect ration
compensation cropdetect playback with mplayer in linux
