[MPlayer-users] via epia meii 6000 questions

Hello,

I am considering using a Via Epia meii 6000 motherboard
with mplayer as a media PC.  The pc would connect to the
television using the s/video and to the audio receiver via
the digital coaxial outputs.  My question, are these
outputs supported either directly by mplayer (vesa:vidix)
or X11 using XV?  IE. does the tv/output work under
mplayer.  Also, does anyone know whether -ac hwac3 works on
this board.  It does have the 6-channel output connector
but this may be more of a questions for the ALSA folks.
