[MPlayer-users] Output to Zoran cards (-vo zr or -vo zr2) + subtitles

Hi,

I am using mplayer to output to my Zoran card (mostly using zr2 not zr).
It seems that it is not currently able to display subtitles from e.g.
DVDs, .mkv or just added subtitles (.srt,..). The only way i can currently
play those through the card with the subtitles is to first use mencoder to
re-encode the video with the subtitles.

I assume it has to do with the fact that it is using zrmjpeg stuff which
means it would possible have to re-render the video on-the-fly for
subtitles (am i right?)
If so then it would be nice to be able to tell it to do so as it would
save me diskspace.
