[MPlayer-users] Error compiling mplayer-cvs (linking libavcodec)?

Hello, I haven't been able to compile mplayer cvs for about a month.
 This is using a gentoo ebuild, which checks out the current copy of cvs
 into a temp dir and compiles it from there.  The error seems to occur
 when linking libavcodec:

 I've browsed the last 2 months of messages but I guess I'm the only
