[MPlayer-users] Error while trying to play WMV files

I am getting the following error when I try and play any file encoded in
WMV format:

Error opening/initializing the selected video_out (-vo) device

Has anyone ever seen this error before?  And if so, what is the issue
and the fix for it?  I appreciate any help I can get on this...  Thanks
in advance.
