interesting note:
by using -vo gl:yuv=[1-4] the graphic cards seems to be the bottleneck 
cause cpu load goes only up to 80% at lower rate (1.8GHZ from 2.2GHZ 
possible with ondemand governor) in "-benchmark -nosound" mode (render 
pictures as fast as possible mode). With -vo xv the cpu load is 100% 
all the time in benchmark mode.

anyone with similar cpu (A64-3500+) has a better nvidia graphic card 
(>FX5900U) and can test with some 720p/1080p movies and -vo gl:yuv=1-4 
modes?
