[MPlayer-users] Still can't get mplayer to work with Firefox 1.5

Create a file in a text editor called $HOME/.mplayer/mplayerplug-in.conf

Add these lines to it

vo=x11
ao=esd,arts,alsa,oss
cachesize=1024
cache-percent=25

Save and close that file and then try the CNN website. It works for me with
mplayerplug-in 3.17
