Okay, thanks a bunch. The bugzilla entry seems to indicate that "AAC
in matroska" doesn't seem to work well. I wouldn't be surprised if it
never did as IMHO ppl who use Matroska don't care much for
compatibility with hardware players or buggy OS and use whatever most
efficient codec they fancy for they videos and audio.

In my experience, AAC audio is rarely used in Matroska, so I think you
hit a longstanding bug which no one had noticed until now.

I advise you to cut a sample from your source small enough to exhibit
the problem and upload it here:
ftp://ftp.mplayerhq.hu/MPlayer/incoming

If possible, try to see if VLC and xine also have issues or not.

I cc'ed Moritz as he's the guy in charge of Matroska support for MPlayer.
