[MPlayer-users] (mencoder) subtitle alignment

I've been trying to find a decent solution to adding a "watermark"
overlay on the videos uploaded to my site, ie: adding my logo to them.

By all accounts this isn't possible when using mencoder, although
ffmpeg has the ability using -vhooks but thats another story :-)

Anyway, to get back to the point, I've now got a decent enough
solution using a constant subtitle to place "mydomain.com" in my
desired truetype font but I'd really like to be able to align it to
the top right of the video. I can do vertical alignment but have so
far not found a way to do horizontal alignment apart from a patch from
2005 that doesn't appear to work with current SVN.

Any ideas before I pull my hair out?
