Sounds like mplayerplug-in is not loading into konqueror. mplayerplug-in
probably won't work in konqueror since it uses GTK2 controls like
firefox. You should test it in firefox or mozilla and see if you get the
same response.

want to ask at http://mplayerplug-in.sf.net
