I have now the same soundcard, the same graphic card, the same TV card.
The only differences are
AMD Athlon 64 3500+ in place of AMD Athlon XP 2000+
SuSE-10.0 in place of SuSE-8.2 (thus kernel 2.6 in place of 2.4)
MPlayer 1.0pre8 in place of MPlayer 1.0pre7
No loopback cable!
Question is simple: what should I check? Of course I could reinstall
pre7 version in place of pre8.
