[MPlayer-users] problem with VOB file

Hello,
  When i play a .vob file. It quits after 20 min. So i used -ss option 
and started it from 25 min as follows.

$mplayer -ss 00:25:00 -v myfile.vob

But this time it opens a black screen, waits for a while, then quits. Is 
it possible to fix the vob file with mencoder or skip the part using 
mplayer ?
