[MPlayer-users] Subtitle timings are wrong and sub delay is broken

The file I discuss here is located at:

At the time of this sending the file is not done uploading yet. It is  
currently at 73% going at about 44-45kb/s and the file size is  
182,330,764 bytes.

This file (and many others) which have .ass subtitles in .mkv file  
containers have the timings wrong. I do not think this is a problem  
with the files as the groups who have released these would have  
corrected this or someone would have reported it. The timings are also  
not off by a certain amount in one way or another. There is an apparent  
mistime of all files by different amounts so that they either appear  
too soon or too late, but each subtitle is different.

Subtitle delay adjusting using the z and x keys is broken as well. If I  
add an entire 2000ms of delay either way there is no difference in the  
timing of the subtitles.

I am running on Mac OS X 10.3.9 and am using a recent (within the past  
week) CVS.
