I have an audio .wma file that allegedly has DRM in it. I'd like to play it
on my gentoo linux box. Well, what I'd really like is to convert it to
an .mp3 file, but I figure playing it is the first step. I installed mplayer
(using +win32codecs.

When I try to play the file, the audio is not intelligable Should mplayer be
able to handle it? Is it easy to verify which codec it should need?
