Yes, I see it as well. I also see some color banding, where there will
be a horizontal band (1/4 to 1/5) of the image that is a slightly
different color/brightness. It is not always in the same spot, but I
have not seen it at the top of the image.

vo = gl,xv and x11 all show the same errors

fglrx 8.18.6 on a 32 bit display. (driver is a possible error point)
Other Apple HD content looks pretty good, like the Harry Potter trailer.
