Yes. I tested it myself with just -input file=fifo and vo_ontop was 
honoured. I admit it would make more sense if just -input would recognize 
keypresses and in combination with -slave would act on slave commands. The 
funny thing is, with just -input it also still acts on keys I press in the 
player window.
