[MPlayer-users] Reencoding a broadcast HD-ATSC stream

I got a .ts capture via pchdtvr (1.0.9) and was wondering if there's a 
standard
set of parameters to reencode this into something more portable, say an 
MPEG4
or Divix5 stream instead...

I also noticed that the image size isn't 1920x1080, but rather 
1920x1088... I suspect
that some non-display lines are also present in the stream ($%^* 
broadcasters that
don't use a proper CC stream-id and embed the CC into the image stream 
instead).

Anyone have suggestions for a best way to reencode?
