[MPlayer-users] [feature/bug] rebuild index while playing

Hello,

I'm using mencoder to save video from tv and I like to watch tv while
recording (timeshift playback). The problem is, mplayer cannot rebuild
the index while playing and recording the video at the same time. So it
is not possible to seek in the currently recording and playing video and
to watch continuously while recording. Totem is able to do this all!
Is it possible to implement this to mplayer too?
