Hi All
i just download from the repository
ftp://ftp.nerim.net/debian-marillat/ (Debian Unstable) the version
1.0pre7-3.3.5, before i used the 1.0pre6-3.3.5.
with the pre6 i used aop=list=volume:volume=50 option in
/etc/mplayer/mplayer.conf and all work fine. now with the new version
i'm not able to work it out.
if i run "mplayer -af volume media.avi" the volume start from the max
but when i try to change it with up and down key it dissapear and
sometime i hear noise, the output on console when i try to change the
volume is like this:
alsa-control: error setting left channel, Invalid argument2.1% 1 0 48%
if i run "mplayer -softvol media.avi" the volume start always from the
max but it works fine
now i'm wondering if with this option i can do the same that i did
with aop=list=volume:volume=50, i mean:
1) the -softvol option by default (i try to add a line in
/etc/mplayer/mplayer.conf but it doesn't work)
2) set the default volume when mplayer start (for example 50% instead of 100%)
well... or another way to enable the software volume control :|
Thanks in advance to all and sorry for my english
Giovanni
