I don't know - all my other apps seem quite happy ;)
I may give 3.4.3 a shot, though, if I have lots of spare time
at hand.

I didn't.  Using fluxbox, no arts anywhere.

Yes, indeed, when STARTING it ... it never displays anything but the 
notification that I cancelled it when I press Ctrl-C
