[MPlayer-users] What are b_frames for and should I use them for my mpeg2 encodings(for DVD) ?

Short of that, you might have luck trying different values for "-
mc" (eg 0, 0.01, 0.1, 10, etc)

Actually, looking at your command-line, you aren't including "-
vf harddup", which is pretty much required for MPEG files.
