Hi, my name is Jan Schiefer and I'm a MPlayer user.
So good so far, but I have a problem that's not related to MPlayer.

As far as I see MPlayer is an project mainly developed by Hungarian
developers. The chances are good, that I will come to Budapest as a
student this summer.
But I have one problem: I don't speak a word of the Hungarian language
and I need a place to live.

I'd just want to ask the Hungarian developers if they can give me some
telephone numbers or addresses to start with. I hadn't much luck
searching the Internet. Most offers are only apartments for vacation. I
need an apartment to live.

I don't know if there is something like a "urban housing company" like
in most German cities ( public company not an private ). I just want a
cheap flat: One room, bath, kitchen. Nothing more. An
"Plattenbauwohnung" ( I don't know if there is an English word ), like
we have in eastern Germany, would be great.
